NIFT 2017 Eligibility Criteria 

For Bachelor Programmes: Maximum Age - 23 years as on 01st October 2017; the upper age limit will be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for the candidates of SC/ST/PHP subject to following qualifications: 
Eligibility for B.Des (Fashion Design/Leather Design/Accessory Design/Textile Design / Knitwear Design/Fashion Communication): 
Candidates should have passed the 10+2 level exam in the 10+2 pattern from any recognized Central/State Board of Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary Education / State Board New Delhi, Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi; or 
General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri-Lanka) at the Advanced level/ International Baccalaureate (IB); or 
Any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or in Foreign countries recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 system; or 
A pass grade in the Senior Secondary School Exam conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects; or 3 or 4-years diploma recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education 
Eligibility for Bachelor of Fashion Technology (Apparel Production) (B.FTech): 
The 10+2 level examination in the 10+2 pattern of exam of any recognised Central/State Board of Secondary Exam such as Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, and Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi with Physics, Chemistry and Maths; or General Certificate Education (GCE) Exam (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the advanced (A) level with Physics, Chemistry and Maths; or 
Any Public School/Board/University exam India or in foreign countries recognised by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 system with Physics, Chemistry and Maths; or

Eligibility for Master Programmes - Design 
Age: No age limit 
Eligibility for M.Des (Master of Design): Undergraduate degree from any institute/university recognized by law in India; or Diploma in UG Design from NIFT/NID only 
Eligibility for MFM (Master of Fashion Management): Undergraduate degree from any institute/university recognised by law in India; or Undergraduate Diploma of minimum three years duration from NIFT/NID 
Eligibility for Master of Fashion Technology: B.F.Tech from NIFT; or B.E./B.Tech from any institute/university recognised by law in India 
Reservation of the Seats 
The seats reserved for SC/ST/Differently Abled Candidates (PHP)/Foreign Nationals/SAARC/ NRI, in each programme are as under: 
SC - 15% 
ST - 7.5% 
OBC (Non-Creamy) - 27% 
PHP (with 40% or more disability) - 3% 
Foreign nationals/SAARC/NRI - 15% 
State Domicile - 20% 
Category once filled up in the application form will not be changed at any stage

This test is administered to judge the intuitive ability, power of observation in concept development and design ability of the candidate. An important aspect of the test is  the creative and innovative use of colour and  illustration skills

Short listed candidates from the written entrance examination are required to take the Situation test/Group Discussion (GD) / Interview as applicable (except B.FTech) 
Questions will be related to English language and Comprehension, Current Affairs, General Knowledge and Legal Awareness and Aptitude 
There is no negative marking in that entrance exam; the language of the written test will be English only. Exam duration will be of 150 minutes

A Paper Based Test (PBT) for all UG and PG Programmes will be conducted on 12th Feb. 2017 at 32 cities. The candidate may select only ONE city for the exam on 12th February 2017

The Prospectus is available at NIFT website www.nift.ac.in free of cost; the Application Fee has to be paid through online payment gateway or through Bank Demand Draft issued in favour of "NIFT HO" payable at New Delhi 
Fee for General/OBC (Non-Creamy) Category: Rs.1500/- through payment gateway or Demand Draft; fee for SC/ST/PHP Category: Rs.750/- through payment gateway or Demand Draft

NIFT 2017 Admit Card 

On the basis of information given in the NIFT Application Forms, Admit Cards of provisionally eligible candidates will be available for download from www.nift.ac.in or http://applyadmission.net/NIFT2017 from 23rd January 2017 onwards 
Admit cards will not be sent by post. Candidates are advised to regularly check NIFT website for updates

NIFT 2017 Result 

The Result Publication of NIFT 2017 will be online mode through the official website “nift.ac.in”. It is expected that the Result of NIFT 2017 can be viewed in the last week of May/June 2017. After the declaration of result, candidates will be invited for further interview and document verification. The counselling of successful candidates will begin from June 2017 as expected. NIFT exam is conducted just to check out the knowledge, aptitude and skill of candidates towards the programme opted by them. The exam is conducted at the broad level at 32 exam centres across the country.

Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) 2017

Goa Common Entrance Test GCET 2017     Notification and Dates announced have been announced. The candidates who want to get admission to B.E., B.Arch & B.Pharm., BHMS, Allied Health Sciences (BPT, BOT, B.Opt., B.Sc.M.I.T., B.Sc.A.T.) B.Sc in Nursing in the State of Goa for the academic year 2017 will have to appear in the Goa Common Entrance Test GCET 2017.
Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Goa shall conduct Goa Common Entrance Test - GCET 2017 for admission to Professional Courses in the State of Goa 2017.

Eligibility Requirements

GCET admission to Professional Degree courses included in this prospectus, an applicant must fulfil the following criteria:
Nationality: Admission to professional courses in State of Goa is open to Indian nationals fulfilling the eligibility criteria under various categories. Non-resident Indians holding Indian passport may also apply for seats reserved under NRI category. Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) /Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) cardholders are considered eligible for admissions to seats under NRI Category only
Foreign Nationals must apply to Govt. of India
Age: An applicant to Degree courses in Medicine, Dentistry, Homoeopathy Allied Health Sciences and Nursing must have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December 2017 of the academic year of admission to become eligible for admission to First Year
No age limit, minimum or maximum, is specified for admission to Engineering, Pharmacy and Architecture
Valid score at GCET-2017: An applicant for Degree courses in Medicine, Dentistry, Engineering, Pharmacy, Homoeopathy, Allied Health Sciences and Nursing must have appeared and obtained valid score at the Goa Common Entrance Test GCET conducted by Govt. of Goa for the year of admission
GCET score of the previous year/s shall not be valid; for Medicine and Dentistry Degree courses, minimum GCET score should be 50% (40% in case of SC/ST/OBC and 45% for applicants belonging to PH category) aggregate in specified subjects
No minimum limit is specified for other courses
An applicant for Degree Course in Architecture must have appeared and obtained valid score at NATA conducted by Council of Architecture
Qualifying Exam & Minimum Marks: An applicant must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Exam of the Goa Board or an Exam conducted by the CBSE New Delhi, or any other exam, which in scope and standard, is deemed to be equivalent to the HSSC exam of Goa Board, and must have obtained the minimum percentage of marks in the specific subjects, as prescribed for the admission to respective professional courses, as under
a) First Year MBBS, BDS, BHMS, AHS & B.Sc in Nursing
MBBS, BDS, BHMS & AHS: Applicant should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (Std. XII) exam of Goa Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent exam with English & secured not less than 50% marks in the aggregate of subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology taken together. (40% for the applicants belonging to SC/ST & OBC only and 45% for applicants belonging to PH category for MBBS /BDS Course)
B.Sc in Nursing: Applicants should have passed HSSC (qualifying exam) in subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English, and obtained minimum 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology for General Category, (40% aggregate marks in subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology for candidates belonging to SC,ST and OBC category)
b) First Year B.E.: The applicant should have passed the HSSC (Std. XIIth) Exam of the Goa Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent exam with English, Physics & Maths as compulsory subjects with one of the following subjects Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Computer Sci./Biology, & secured not less than 45% marks in the aggregate to SC/ST and OBC only)
c) First Year B.Pharm: The applicant should have passed the HSSC (Std.XIIth) Exam of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent exam with English, Physics & Chemistry as compulsory subjects with one of the following subjects Mathematics/Bio-Technology/Computer Science/Biology, and secured not less than 45% marks in the aggregate of subjects of Physics & Chemistry with one of the following subjects Mathematics/Bio-Technology/Computer Science/Biology (40% for the applicants belonging to SC/ST & OBC only)
d) First Year B.Arch.: The applicant should have passed the HSSC (Std. XIIth) exam of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent exam with Mathematics as one of the subjects and secured at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% aggregate marks for applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC); or
10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognised by Central/State Governments with 50% aggregate marks; or International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10-years of schooling, with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject
Applicants scoring minimum 80/200 at NATA will be eligible for admission to B.Arch., provided NATA score is obtained by answering NATA exam before last date of submission of admission form
e) Kashmiri Migrants Only in Engg Courses: The applicant should have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std. XIIth) exam or its equivalent exam with English, Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects with one of the following subjects Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Computer Science/Biology & secured not less than 45% marks
f) Admission of Eligible Diploma/B.Sc Degree holders to First Year of Engg/Pharmacy Degree Courses: Candidates who have passed Diploma in Engineering /B.Sc Degree with Mathematics as a subject at Std XIIth , with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC), shall be eligible for admission to First Year of Engg Degree Courses, subject to vacancies in First Year, after vacancies at Lateral Entry into Direct Second Year are exhausted
The merit list of such candidates shall be prepared on the basis of aggregate marks scored at qualifying exam.

GCET 2017 Entrance Exam Dates

Physics: 09th May 2017 (Tuesday, 10.00 to 12.00 hrs) - Duration: 2 Hrs
Chemistry: 09th May 2017 (Tuesday,, 14.00 to 16.00 hrs) - Duration: 2 Hrs
Mathematics: 10th May 2017 (Wednesday, 10.00 to 12.00 hrs) - Duration: 2 Hrs
Biology: 10th May 2017 (Wednesday, 14.00 to 16.00 hrs) - Duration: 2 Hrs

Exam Pattern

The exam will consist of four papers as physics, mathematics, chemistry and biology
Each paper will consist of 75 (Seventy Five) questions to be answered in two hours (One hundred & twenty minutes)
Each question shall have four choices for answers, out of which only one shall be correct
Correct answer shall carry one mark for each question. There will be no negative marking for wrong/multiple answers
The examination will be in English language only
The questions will be composed from the 11th & 12th syllabus prescribed by the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education

Selection Process

The selection will be made through the counselling process; the candidates will be ranked as per their individual score in GCET result 2017 and called for counselling
After the successful processing of counselling, the candidates will be allotted the institutions and seat as per their ranks.

To fill up the application form, follow the given below steps:

Fill in all the details carefully
Take a print out of the application form and submit the form in person at the notified Application Reception Centre according to the centre provided. Along with this, pay the demand draft of Rs.1500/- in favour of “Director of Technical Education” at Panaji, and three photographs. Obtain the Photo-Admit Card, from the Admission Committee, on the same day.

Application Fee

Candidates can pay Rs.1500/- as the application fee along with the DD: The GCET 2017 Application Fee need to be paid via DD in favour of “Director of Technical Education” at Panaji – Goa, on any Scheduled Bank.

RIMC Dehradun announces Entrance Test for Admission in Jan 2018 

Rashtriya Indian Military College Dehradun invites application from the boys of Andhra Pradesh for admission for the term commencing January 2018. 
RIMC conducts the entrance test for admission to the VIII Class in the RIMC Dehradun for Jan 2018 term. Candidates who are interest in taking admission must appear in the Entrance Test 
The Rashtriya Indian Military College is an Inter-Services Institution and a Category 'A' established of the Ministry of Defence. The College was established in 1992 with the primary aim of preparing the boys for entry into Defence Services and to provide quality all round education to young boys. 
Applications are invited for boys only for admission to the Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC), Dehradun (UK) for JAN 2018 Term which will be conducted at selected centres on 01st and 02nd June 2017 

Eligibility Criteria 

Entry Age: Candidates appearing for the above test should not be less than 11½ years in age but should not have attained the age of 13 years as on 01st Jan 2018, i.e. they should have been born not earlier than 02nd Jan 2005 and not later than 01st Jul 2006 
Educational Qualifications: Candidates should either be studying in Class XII or passed Class VII from any recognized school at the time of admission to the RIMC i.e. on 01st Jan 2017 

Scheme of Exam 

The examination comprises of: 
a) Written Exam: The written part of the examination will consist of three papers, namely, English (1000-1200hrs) and Mathematics (1400-1530hrs) shall be conducted on 01 (Thu) Jun 2017 and General Knowledge paper (1000-11OOhrs) on 02 (Fri) Jun 2017. Minimum pass marks in each paper is 50% 
b) Viva Voce: The interview date shall be 10 (Tue) Oct 2017, and interview will be held for only those candidates who qualify in the written exam, Minimum pass marks in interview is 50% and the date, venue for interview will be intimated to them by respective State early by Sep 2017. Intelligence and personality of the candidates will be tested in the interview 
c) Medical Exam: All the candidates qualified after interview will undergo a medical examination at selected Military Hospitals and only those candidates found medically fit will be considered for selection and admission to the RIMC. The medical exam of the candidates forms only a part of the system of selection and does not imply the final selection 
Exam Centres: Examination centres are generally located in the state capitals or in cities/towns s per advertised 

Fee Details 

Fees at RIMC is heavily subsidized by the Central Govt. The fee is presently Rs. 42400/- per year. It may increase from time to time. At the time of entry a Security Deposit of Rs. 20000/- is to be made 

Scholarships 

Various State Government grants scholarships to meritorious students. The amount of scholarships varies from state to state and is in between Rs. 10,0001- to Rs. 20,000/- per annum 
Continuation of Scholarship once granted by the state is subject to merit, income and discipline of the cadet and his performance (during the year)

Eligibility Requirements

Nationality: The application for admission should be a resident Indian national and (i) should have studied in schools located in India in the preceding two years for admission to Undergraduate programme (ii) should have studied in educational institutions in India and completed their qualifying examination

Eligibility Criteria in Qualifying Exam:

Undergraduate Programmes:

For B. Tech: A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with Minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
For Industrial Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Bioinformatics, Bio processing and Genetic Engineering with Minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology
For B. Arch: (a) A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent having a minimum total aggregate of 50% with English and Mathematics as subjects of study or 10+3 Diploma (Any Stream) recognized by Central/State Government with 50% aggregate marks
b) A pass in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture. No separate entrance examination will be conducted by Bharath University. However, the candidates have to apply in the prescribed application form for admission to B.Arch Programme
For Science and Humanities: A Pass in 10+2 or its equivalent
B. Tech Lateral Entry: A Pass in Diploma Recognized by Central or State Government with 50% aggregate /B.Sc with Mathematics or its equivalent

Post-Graduate Programmes

For M. Tech.: Any B.E/B. Tech or its equivalent examination approved by UGC/AICTE in appropriate branch with at least 60% marks in the aggregate or equivalent CGPA or eligible for respective courses
For M.Com.: Any Under Graduate with first class or 60% marks or equivalents
For MCA: Any Under Graduate with Business Mathematics or Statistics are eligible for first year MCA
For B.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Technology/Electronics are eligible for Lateral Entry Program
For M.Sc.: Any B.Sc. or their equivalent examinations in appropriate branch are eligible for respective courses
Note: Candidates of qualifying examination can also apply on provisional basis, but at the time of admission such a candidate shall have to produce the original certificate of having passed / Mark sheet from the respective exam provided that he/she fulfils the eligibility criteria

BEEE 2017 Exam Pattern

Bharath Engineering Entrance Exam question paper will be based n the exam pattern of BEEE. Candidates can check the exam pattern for BEEE 2017 from below:
Subjects: English (10 questions; 10 marks); Physics (30 questions; 30 marks); Chemistry (30 questions; 30 marks); Mathematics (30 questions; 30 marks); Biology (30 questions; 30 marks)
*Only for Biology students
Total marks that can be obtained in the exam is 100. There is no negative marking

BEEE 2017 Admit Card

Admit card of BEEE 2017 is also known as BEEE hall ticket; after a candidate has applied, he/she is issued a document from the exam conducting body, which is very important from the examination point of view
The BEEE admit card is expected to be available a few days (or weeks) before the date of exam

The Application Forms will be issued from February onwards. There are two modes of registration
Online with e-payment use the URL www.bharathuniv.ac.in, register and pay online
Online with Demand Draft: Application to be filled online by visiting www.bharathuniv.ac.in/admissions, and the same can be downloaded and sent to us with the demand draft for Rs.900/- drawn in favour of Bharath University, payable at Chennai
This has to reach us before the last date specified. Candidates should write their name and address on the reverse of Demand draft. Your application will be processed only upon receipt of the demand draft

GGS Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test (IPU CET 2017) Submission of Counselling Participation Fee

Submission of Counselling Participation Fee

Candidate has to deposit a nonrefundable Rs.1000/- plus charges as applicable, as one time (non refundable) Counselling Participation Fee, as per the schedule for each CET Code
For depositing the Counselling Participation Fee, the candidate has to visit the GGSIP University admission websitewww.ipuadmissions.nic.in and select the option for “payment of counselling participation fee" enters CET details viz CET Roll No, Date of Birth and Mobile Number. After submission of the details as mentioned in para 2 the candidate will get two options of payment:
i) Cash payment (challan will be generated and fee may be deposited through cash in any branch of Indian Bank)
ii) Net Banking /Credit Card and Debit Card
The candidates are required to check the status of fee payment on the website www.ipuadmissions.nic.in and must take the printout of online fee confirmation receipt with the transaction details, to be retained for all future reference. In case of payment of fee through Challan, the candidate must retain the copy of the Challan after depositing the fees
Important Note: Common Entrance Test (CET) will be held for all regular programmes run in University Schools of Study and affiliated colleges

IPU CET 2017 Exam Pattern

Exam Scheme for IPU CET 2017

Candidates must read the exam pattern of IPU CET 2017 to know about various aspects of the exam and question paper such as number, type and weightage of the questions, exam duration and marking scheme. IPU CET 2017 Exam pattern is given below:
The test will be comprised of total 150 questions
The questions are asked from the syllabus of class 11th and 12th
The total time for the entrance test will be 150 minutes
For B.Tech the question will be asked from Physics, Chemistry and Maths
There is equal weightage for all the three subjects
The questions will be of objective type having four answers
There will be negative marking for the wrong answers
Four marks will be given for a correct answer and one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer
The entrance exam for B.Tech will be conducted in first week of May 2017 where as the entrance exam for B.Tech (Biotechnology) will be conducted in third week of May 2017
Interested candidates are required to fill the application form online, latest by last week of March 2017

IPU-CET 2017 Eligibility

The university conducts the entrance test to provide admission to undergraduate programmes in various disciplines. Candidates can check the eligibility for IPU-CET 2017 before applying for the same. Here is the GGSIPU-CET 2017 Eligibility requirements :-
  1.  Candidates must have passed class 12th from a recognized board.
  2. A minimum aggregate of 55% in class 12th is a prerequisite, but the candidate must have passed all subjects (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics) separately.
  3. The candidates must have passed English subject (core/elective or functional).
  4. They should be 21 years old as on the date of examination.
  5. The candidates appearing in Class 12th exam in 2016 are eligible to apply provided that they should be able to meet the eligibility criteria at the time of IPU-CET counseling.
  6. The appearing candidates are required to present the 12th class mark sheets at the time of counselling.

All the candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria for the particular course for which he or she wants to apply. The result of IPU CET 2017 will be released in May 2017 and will be published on the official website. Along the result for B.Tech, the result for M.Tech , M.Sc., MBA, BJMC, and MAHM/ MCPHM course will also be released.

IPU CET 2017 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must read the IPU CET 2017 eligibility criteria thoroughly before applying for the exam.
Here are the GGSIPU-CET-2017 Eligibility requirements:
Candidates must have passed class 12th from a recognized board

Age Limit

i) For all Undergraduate Programmes where entry qualification is 12th pass other than MBBS/BDS - 21st years
ii) For MBBS/BDS - 35 years
iii) For all other Post Graduate Programs where entry qualification is graduation - 45 years
iv) Bachelor of Vocation - 45 year
Note
1. Candidate should be not less than 17 years as on 31st December 2017 for BHMS/BAMS/MBBS/BDS Program
2. For MPH (FE) Programme, upper age limit is 45 years for in service candidates and 35 years for direct candidates, as in August 2017
3. For BHMS candidates, the candidate must have attained or will attain the age of 17 years as in December 2017
4. For Bachelor of Vocation Programmes the candidate should not be less than 16 years in December 2017
5. For SC/ST/OBC category candidates for MBBS/BDS CET, a relaxation of 5 years shall be granted on the maximum age specified.

IPU CET 2017 Admit Card

All candidates must possess their IPU CET 2017 Admit Card while appearing for the entrance test
Admit card can be downloaded from the university website just 7 days prior to the CET exam date
Applicants can download IPU CET 2017 Hall Ticket by using their login and password. The applicants must carry two hard copies of the admit card, with 2 passport photographs on it, on the day of the exam
Candidates must preserve the Admit Card of IPU CET 2017 till the time of counselling/admission
