VITEEE 2017 for admission to B. Tech programmes 2017-18
VITEEE 2017 is the VIT Engineering Entrance Examination. VITEEE 2017 is being conducted in the month of April every year by VIT University for B. Tech Admissions in its Vellore and Chennai Campuses. This All India Level Engineering Entrance Exam is being held in most states in India, in 118 cities.
Vellore Institute of Technology, Tamil Nadu invites application for admission to B.Tech Programmes VIT admissions will be purely on the basis of the marks secured in the VITEEE 2017 Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted by VIT University.

VITEEE 2017 Eligibility Criteria
The applicant for admission should be a Resident/Non Resident Indian National
Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 01st July 1995 are eligible to apply for VITEEE-2017
Candidates appearing for the VITEEE in 2017 should have secured an aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate)
The average marks obtained in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology (PCM / PCB) in +2 (or its equivalent) put together should be 50% for the SC/ST & North Eastern State
Candidates who have studied in Regular, Full Time and Formal Education are alone eligible to apply

Admissions Criteria
The admission will be given on the basis of the candidate’s performance in VITEEE 2017. If any of the candidates has not given or applied for VITEEE then he/she will not be eligible for getting admission into VIT University. This examination is must to be given

Guidelines to VITEEE 2017 Applicants
Online Application Forms: Get ready to submit the application form, after following the below instructions:
i. Softcopy (scanned copy) of recently taken passport size colour photograph with 50kb - 100kb (Dimensions - 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm) / Softcopy (scanned copy) of Signature of the Candidate with 20kb - 50kb (Dimensions - 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm) in JPG/JPEG format
